About this ebook

There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my best friend.

Like, hide the fact I’ve been in love with her for years.

Or agree to be her fake boyfriend when we have to return to her hometown for her exes wedding.

Little does Jillian know this is what I’ve been waiting for.

It’s a dream come true. I finally get to touch her and love her in all the ways I’ve been dying to show her.

For one weekend only, she’s mine, even if she thinks it’s fake.

Pretending to love her is easy.

I want her to be mine forever.

Getting Jillian to admit it’s what she wants too, is another thing.

On or off the ice, I have no problems fighting dirty to get what I want.

But this is one fight I might just lose.

Stacey Lynn wins with FIGHTING DIRTY (Ice Kings #5). In this story, Carolina Ice Kings NHL player Newman Klaus has been in love with his best friend Jillian Stearns for years. He cannot believe his luck when she asks him to go home with her for the weekend and pretend that he is her fake boyfriend at her ex-fiancés wedding. Now he must get her to see him as more than just a friend. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers. FIGHTING DIRTY is a heartfelt and fun story. Klaus and Jillian are great characters. They have been best friends for years and are wonderful together. Jillian's home life is a bit of a mess, and Klaus is excellent moral support. However, as much as they are great together, they do need to work on their communication throughout the novel. They have some heated misunderstandings. The story is skillfully written and entertaining throughout. I appreciated that we got updates about characters from the previous books. I recommend this story to people who enjoy friends to lovers and sports romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Fighting Dirty is book 5 in the Ice Kings series. I enjoyed this book of friends to lovers, fake relationship. Jillian and Klaus' story is one of family and conversation that has to be had. It is how our views alter how we see others. That sometimes the things we put as priorities are sometimes not what we should put as priority. Blurb: There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my best friend.
