About this ebook

The truth isn’t a key to freedom—it’s a loaded gun.

When my best friend vanishes, a terrifying game of cat and mouse pulls me into a nightmare I can’t escape. Her disappearance is tangled in a web of lies that leads straight to a murder investigation—and to me. Now I’m being hunted by a shadowy cult willing to kill to keep their secrets buried. My podcast, once a voice for the voiceless, has become my death sentence.

They’re always watching, waiting for me to slip.

The clock is ticking for me to expose the conspiracy that could destroy everything—or become its next victim. With my freedom and my life on the line, I’ll have to risk it all to save the people I love. But the deeper I dig, the more I realize: some secrets were never meant to be unearthed.

A gripping psychological thriller of crime, cult intrigue, and deadly family secrets, No Safe Place will keep you breathless to the very last page.

🎧🎤🎛Action, action, frantic action! Never a calm or dull moment in this third book in a series about the take over of a West Coast town by a secretive church group run by Alpha and Omega, a married couple not averse to polygamy, kidnapping and murder. And a dedicated podcaster determined to unveil their actions and bring them down. And the secrets coming out of her own family: incredible! I was just not thrilled that the story starts assuming you've just read the previous book.

Fleur is a true crime podcaster who started her podcast because of the unsolved disappearance of her older sister. She finds a lot of what she thought she knew was wrong. It is a challenge to write this review as my mind is blown by the end of this book. I never would have guessed it in a million years but it was perfect. I read this in one sitting, I was pulled in and couldn’t wait to see how things wrapped up. I definitely recommend this series! I received a free copy of this book.

WOW! What a thrilling conclusion. Full of suspense, intrigue, and twists until the very end, where you're hit with the biggest twist of them all. If you enjoy a good suspense thriller, then The Watcher series is for you. Very well written. I cannot wait to read more by this author. I received a free ARC from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

About the author

Stacy Claflin is a USA Today bestselling thriller author who has published more than 100 novels, including Girl in Trouble and The Perfect Death. She has always been curious about the human mind, and in her quest to learn more, she earned a degree in Psychology. Her favorite course was Abnormal Behavior, which has been useful in writing fiction.

Her love for thrillers goes back to her early childhood when she fell in love with Unsolved Mysteries and America’s Most Wanted. When Stacy was five, she got mad at a babysitter who wouldn’t let her watch the evening news. These days, she spends her free time listening to true crime podcasts or watching documentaries on the subject.

She has been telling stories for as long as she can remember, and as child would often get into trouble for trying to convince friends her wild tales were true. Now she puts her creativity to better use by writing page-turning stories that leave readers begging for more.

Stacy occasionally dabbles in other genres, so as you peruse her library of works, you’ll find some romance and paranormal tales, all with strong suspense elements.
