About the author

Jason Fry is the author of more than 50 books and short stories set in the Star Wars galaxy, including The Weapon of a Jedi, The Essential Atlas, the Servants of the Empire quartet and the novelization of The Last Jedi. He is also the author of the Jupiter Pirates space-fantasy series. He lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., with his wife, son and about a metric ton of Star Wars stuff.

Richard Chasemore, a technical illustrator since 1992, has extensive experience in publishing and advertising, using traditional and digital media. He's lectured on airbrush techniques, authored six educational books on digital art, and contributed significantly to the Star Wars Incredible Cross Sections series, collaborating with Lucasfilm's concept artists at Skywalker Ranch. With over 30 years of experience, he's created illustrations globally, including major brands like Batman, Star Trek, and Transformers, and has been recognised with awards such as the New York Times best seller and Best Corporate Advertising.

Hans Jenssen is a veteran illustrator of almost too many Star Wars Cross-Sections books to count, going all the way back to 1997. He lives in Devon in the UK and when not at the drawing board he enjoys home improvements and flying gliders. He is delighted to be back in the saddle with fellow inkswabs and looks forward to having a few drinks with them in the Cantina in Mos Eisley at the end of the project.

John R. Mullaney produced his first Star Wars cutaway painting for DK/Lucasfilm in 2001 and has since illustrated multiple locations and vehicles for the same series of Incredible Cross-Sections titles. He has also been commissioned and published by other major studios, creating cutaway originals & limited edition prints for franchises such as Alien, Batman, Doctor Who, Firefly/Serenity, Halo, and Warhammer 40K. John is also an award-winning film-maker and lives in Reading, UK with his wife and two sons.
