About the author

Stella Tartsinis, DMA was the last of the three saxophonist ever invited to study with Sigurd M. Rascher at his home in Shushan, NY. She shares some tips through this saxophone study guide how to improve tone and technique. She also has developed students to score a nearly if not 100% on state music tests. Her experience has lead her to perform at Carnegie Recital Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Broadway, and soloist and chamber musician with multiple ensembles and orchestras. She is a versatile performer and composer.
