Rich, handsome and charming, Jared Golden spies a beautiful woman across the ballroom during the New Year's Eve ball at his boutique hotel in Philadelphia. Jared seduces the beautiful Belle into spending one wickedly hot night in the Salon, a secret club in the hotel where Jared and his friends set aside their inhibitions and play. But the next morning, she's gone...

Trapped in a boring life compared to the exotic art she adores, Annabelle Elder finds solace in her antique shop after a bad breakup with a cheating ex. But after one night with Jared, she yearns for more. But an affair with a man like Jared could expose her most closely guarded secrets.

Annabelle is determined to forget that one amazing encounter, but Jared refuses to give up on the finding his mystery woman. And when he does, their passion ignites, hotter than before. Annabelle can't resist another taste, but will their affair destroy her carefully crafted freedom?

The story moves along smoothly. There is the usual girl with a past and self made man with issues who fall at first sight with a few small bumps in the road. Although this is not written as a fantasy book, there are some elements of magic and destiny involved. The only thing that confuses the story is the lack of spacing between paragraphs,so when read where one character says something and another says something else straight away but it's an entirely new conversation on an entirely new part of the story.

This was a good book except that it was confusing because the auther didn't separate the dialogue between the 2 leading characters. By this I mean that Id be reading dialogue from one and then all of a sudden I'd realize that its a totally different setting and conversation between different people. Confusing. For this reason I decided to forgo buying the second book.TY

This is a great read, but like others from this author the editing needs work. Paragraphs follow without a break for story line change. Difficult to read.
