About this ebook

The book of revelation is the last of the sixty-six books of the Bible. As such, it is the concluding word of God and therefore occupies a special position. Whereas a blessing is attached to its reading, a curse is pronounced against anyone adding to its text—thus reflecting how very important is this book of God's word.

The content of this present work, which will be two volumes in length, comprises the text of what were two separate series of messages on Revelation spoken by the author in, respectively, the year 2007 and back during the 1950s. After these many years, and inasmuch as we sense the return of the Lord Jesus to be increasingly imminent, we believe that there is a need to make these spoken words available in print in order that many more of God's people may receive the promised blessing.

It is our prayer that all who shall read this book will receive God's blessing in their being better prepared for the imminent return to the earth of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ.

This has been the only satisfactory interpretation of the book of Revelation that is not imposing, but humbly presented. I can say, that after reading a myriad of books and listening to countless messages, many, without exaggeration, merely present their views with such pride inappropriate for servants of God. Exalting their views and denigrating others. As if they have a monopoly of the Truth. The chapter here in regard to the particular and partial revelation that the Lord gives to each local assembly ought to set right those who proudly, and without shame, proclaim that only their interpretation of the Bible is the sole correct or accurate one. For no one local church has the complete revelation from the Lord. However, having mentioned this, the still more important matter is not having the truth, but practicing the truth. Those who divide Christians throughout the earth by claiming that their own group of churches under their umbrella is the true church should humble themselves.

Very truthful and scriptural. The author is well aware of God's presence as he writes this marvelous book. Bless his soul.

Was a lot better than I expected. It has some mysticism and I was not happy when they began quoting different translations. They can Not all be right.

About the author

Born in China, Stephen Kaung was converted to Christ at an early age. He met Watchman Nee in the early 1930's and became a co-worker with brother Nee in the Lord's work. He moved to the United States in 1952, and has continued to share Christ with the Lord's people around the world, as well as translate and publish the messages of Watchman Nee. Today, beyond the age of 100, he continues to be a great encouragement to the saints wherever he ministers, demonstrating that "It is no longer I that live but Christ Who lives in me."
