My name is Derek Tiah, and I am an aspiring writer hoping to break into the worlds of comic books, manga, and storytelling. I've had a passion for making stories and drawing various characters since I was able to read and write, hoping to one day create my own project. And in recent years, I've seen an increase in the usage of AI in both the corporate and creative worlds. I respect the promises of AI, but I respect human creativity and the arts far more, and "Steps in Creativity," my first published story, is designed to help individuals who are concerned about the future of art.
My name is Tristan Toothaker, and I am an aspiring writer and the editor for Steps in Creativity. I have been working with Derek since the early 2010’s, and have helped him come up with and produce multiple stories over the years. My goal is to eventually write and publish my own novel, and I hope that readers can give it a chance just like they've given this book a chance.
