The author of this book, Steve R. R. Carpenter, is a thirty-six-year-old virgin still living with his parents who spent most of his life playing computer games. That, along with the “R. R.” (which he added to the middle of his name because that’s how you can tell a literary genius), makes him uniquely qualified to write a book like this. When he is not trying to bring the fantasy MMORPG industry to its knees, he enjoys long walks on the beach and contemplating what it would be like to own a cat. Also, if there were any decent fantasy Sandbox MMORPGs out there, the author would be gladly playing one, instead of writing this book. So blame the game industry for this book, not me, ok?
