Virginia is vijftien. Omdat haar moeder niet goed voor haar zorgde, woont ze sinds haar zevende bij haar vader en stiefmoeder. Na een ruzie met haar vader besluit ze in een opwelling de herfstvakantie bij haar moeder door te brengen. Onderweg komen er hooligans in de trein. Virginia filmt de mishandeling van een conducteur met haar mobiel, met de bedoeling het filmpje naar de politie te sturen. Maar ze bedenkt zich als ze eenmaal bij haar moeder in het huis vol herinneringen is, en haar moeders nieuwe vriend een van de hooligans blijkt te zijn...
