About this eBook

An alien spy...

Unless he finds his mate, Stoan will die when he turns thirty, which makes him willing to take the most dangerous jobs. When he spots the human woman who awakens the denya bond within him, he knows they can never be.

A shattered woman...

Reina Draven almost lost everything at the hands of a warlord’s ambition. As she’s pulled into a world of danger and intrigue, her only stable force is the closed off blue alien assigned to be her partner on a mission she's been drafted into undertaking. Though the flame of desire sparks hot between them, she doesn’t know if she’s ready for romance, and he seems determined to keep away from her.

A bond too strong to be denied...

Their mission takes them deep into enemy territory, and Reina and Stoan need to learn to trust one another or face fatal consequences. As the danger heats up, so does the spark of their bond. But when a surprise from Stoan’s past throws a wrench in the works, their future is threatened by something even more dangerous than a brutal general's attention.

Will Stoan choose to step into the future with his denya? Or will his secrets swallow him whole?

Stoan is the third book in the Mated to the Alien series. This science fiction romance series can be read in any order and there are no cliffhangers! Enjoy fated mates, steamy alphas, and plenty of space adventures. This book is great for readers of paranormal romance and sci fi romance who love to read in their free time!

I absolutely love this series about the Detyen warriors. As a Detyen nears his 30th birthday, he must find his Denya (mate) or he will die. There is an option to become soulless, extending their lives in a sort of emotionless existence where they carry out assignments for the Legion until they are “retired” (disposed of). This one has a different twist because Stoan was an orphan who meets the female he believes will become his mate. They are separated and he continues now to search for her, regardless of the fact that he has just found his true Denya when he was assigned a spy mission with Reina. Reina’s problem is that, even though she was divorcing her now deceased husband, she is not sure she should be feeling such attraction to someone else after just losing her husband. Since Stoan seems determined to stay away from her, they are not yet giving in to acceptance of each other as Fate has decreed. Neither of them realized that an uncontrollable passion would arise as their bond grew stronger. How long will they continue to try to resist? There is plenty of danger and suspense as the two of them carry out their deadly mission. But Stoan is protective of Reina no matter what the risk to him. And they have strong feelings that will soon need to be acknowledged!

This is the story of Reina and Stoan. She awakens the denya bond when he sees her but doesn’t feel they can be together. As they work together on a mission they need to rely on each other to survive. The danger rachets up as secrets from Stoan’s past come to light. I enjoyed this romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a really good series and this installment is pretty interesting. Stoan is a Detyen with a few years left before he turns thirty and is not really looking to find his Denya/mate. Reina is recovering from the loss of her husband even though she didn’t really love him and she and her brother are still recuperating from their physical wounds left by Droscus’ men. They are called upon to find an item of interest to Nina, the ruler of their city. They get off to a slow start and there is more action than sex (which is okay) and some intrigue surrounding this childhood friend. I’m looking forward to reading the next in this series. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
