Stoicism is a philosophical school of thought that originated during the early Hellenistic era (circa 300 BC). It flourished throughout the Roman and Greek world until the 3rd century A.D. Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Epictetus, and Emperor Marcus Aurelius were prominent promoters of stoicism. However, Christianity became the religion of the state during the 4th century and stoicism rapidly declined. Over the years, stoicism has experienced some periods of revival, notably during the Renaissance (Neo-Stoicism) and during the modern era (modern stoicism).

Greeks Think of it all or they did! Simply start to finish they destroyed themselves because no house can or will stand forever. Its a cruel world out there so why would you feed it with unhelpful acts of nonsincical disregard. Shhsshh your mind steel your wants and emotions for now and forever let us avenge this life the Gods jokingly tossed aside and allowed us our foot in the door. with reason and choice and a regard for a future with nomore pretentious Gods in our way that is what we fight for today. Hear, Hear my people let us rage against the well oiled bodies of the Gods and grind them to dust.
