Whilst the Jamaican authorities try their best to find the British senior Police officer. The OSC return from a mission on the African continent to the news that the Police killer and Chief Superintendent Attlee are now in Cuba. With the British Police unable to now, intervene into a non-extradition country. Max had previously made a promise to chief superintendent Attlee after he saved his life and wants to go into Cuba. The Prime Minister eventually lets the OSC loose. The OSC are Britain's first and last line of offence.

M.W. Fletcher has served in the British military; specialisation sniper and served as a British Police officer, serving in many operational departments, including duties at No 10 Downing street. He also attended as a Police officer the Rhodesian Elections of 1980 as part of Operation AGILA; He has written several other novels about Max Storm and the OSC, this is the first novel in the Mason Stone series. Drawing on these experiences in these fields and with an active imagination to write his books. At present, he is a Risk Assessor and trainer. He is married with two children and lives in the UK.
