The novel Strangers by Dean Koontz is likely one of his best works. As usual with Koontz, he starts by introducing a cast of characters with deep details and back-stories. These people are all Strangers with no connection. Each begins to experience nightmares and un-natural behaviors. There is a linkage between them all, they spent a night at a little motel in the middle of nowhere special. The story builds nicely leading to some exciting action events near the ending. If you wanted to read only one book by Koontz, this is the one I would recommend.

Wonderful, as Always! A Wonderful, Original Plot with Characters that You that are believable, though not necessarily likeable. The story begins in various locations in the USA, but ends up in the high desert of Nevada. The descriptions of the mostly arid desolation are spot on, it adds to the realism of the situation. I don't want to give away any of the story(I hate Spoilers!) but, I do want to assure you that this book is Definitely worth Your time! Dean Koontz's words never fail to make an impression on me. I always feel better after finishing one of his books, "Strangers" is no exception. I always feel more hopeful about life and people in general. The story of "Strangers" ends on a Hopeful note, not all of his stories do, but All of them make me feel better. I Highly Recommend this Book. Do yourself a favor, let Dean Koontz's words take you on an unforgettable adventure.

Although a slow starter, it picks up to the point you can't put it down. Stephen King like in character development, a lot longer than Dean usually takes to do. Starts a sleeper, but turns sleepless all of a sudden. Now I have to find another book...
