While the story was good and had an excellent twist, I didn't see coming. I have found that over the last few books, the chemistry between the main characters isn't focused on anymore. There's no build-up of attraction like there used to be, and the sex scenes always seem to be thrown together at the last minute. In the older books, the sex scenes were built-up and created a sense of anticipation, and when they did happen, they were full of passion and romance; now, they feel like a quickie. The books are now missing the romantic aspect that brought them together.

Another fun entertaining read. I really enjoyed it. The paranormal energy worker stuff, it's fascinating, and that last few chapters is pretty cool. The plot, it's kinda cliche, but still have that wow factor in it. What I don't like is too many repetitions, when you told the same thing over and over again, it's pretty annoying. But If you're looking a fast-paced easy-to-read paranormal suspense romance, try this one, not a perfect book but still entertaining.

I’ve been looking forward to this story since Hurricane showed up in the last book. He’s such a larger than life character. There were so many twists in this one it makes you dizzy . Jewel is a energy worker and we learn what that entails and so much more. After so many books you would think this series would get boring but this author always finds ways to make each book unique and interesting,
