About this eBook

Jewel wakes up in the hospital, with no memory of what happened to her or no reason why she was found on the highway—dead. As reawakening goes, this one is brutal, but even more confusing is her instinctive grasping for a missing necklace around her neck. Had she been robbed, beaten, and dumped? If so, why? She has few friends and even fewer family members left to care, but, unlike his name, Hurricane walks into her hospital room and becomes a safe harbor for a world gone nuts.

Hurricane had been asked by Stefan to help Jewel and to take possession of a necklace, if it was deemed dangerous. Hurricane has seen a lot of dangerous and crazy things in his life, but Jewel’s current state is something new to him.

As the dangerous storm heightens around them, Hurricane’s task—keeping Jewel safe, as she tries to regain her memories and her sanity—slips even further away …

String of Tears is a gripping paranormal suspense that had me reading way past my bedtime. The characters, Jewel and Hurricane, are strong, likable characters that drive this novel at a record pace. It is an original story (nothing like anything I've ever read), and considering that a read 100+ books a year, is a refreshingly unique storyline. Although String of Tears is part of a series it is a stand-alone story. Kudos to the author for providing this reader a fabulously entertaining book! 5 freaking stars!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

While the story was good and had an excellent twist, I didn't see coming. I have found that over the last few books, the chemistry between the main characters isn't focused on anymore. There's no build-up of attraction like there used to be, and the sex scenes always seem to be thrown together at the last minute. In the older books, the sex scenes were built-up and created a sense of anticipation, and when they did happen, they were full of passion and romance; now, they feel like a quickie. The books are now missing the romantic aspect that brought them together.

I’ve been looking forward to this story since Hurricane showed up in the last book. He’s such a larger than life character. There were so many twists in this one it makes you dizzy . Jewel is a energy worker and we learn what that entails and so much more. After so many books you would think this series would get boring but this author always finds ways to make each book unique and interesting,
