4.5 Stars This is book 3 in the Tap That series and it features Grace and Brandon. A one night stand turns into a second chance romance for these two very different people. It’s about regret, friendship, love and ultimately compromise. Compromise is extremely difficult for two people so used to running their own lives. This might be the first book I’ve read that the author hasn’t made the child super cute or extra special in some way. Fallon was just a normal eight-year-old pushing the boundaries with her mom. The story line was great and the characters are fabulous. I look forward to reading more from this fantastic author.

The hilarious and heartwarming return of Jeff Spicoli! I hadn't heard that name in decades, so it was especially funny to see our hero, Brandon, use it as an alias in a one-night-stand on his twenty-first birthday. That and an illegible phone number resulted in his not knowing that something completely life-changing happened that night. Nine years later, Grace happens to see the familiar face in an online video, and she finally has the chance to confront her daughter's father. Brandon and Grace have a beautiful, whirlwind romance that is the stuff of fairytales. Brandon isn't anything like the narcissistic womanizer she thought he'd be, and Grace is so much more than Brandon could've hoped for as a mother for his child. I loved how the writing focused on their character and compatibility without ignoring the blazing-hot chemistry they shared. It was nice to see that the daughter wasn't portrayed as perfect, yet she's not a brat, either. Even though the romance moved fast, it felt real and honest with careful attention paid to both the pros and cons for everyone involved. The HEA was absolutely exquisite. The cast of characters from the first two books were wonderfully incorporated into this story, and I have to confess that I'm completely in love with Liam. I hope he gets a book in this series, or at the very least we get some follow-up with his hot little redhead. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Strip Tease by Erin McCarthy is the third book in her Tap That series and definitely worth reading. Strip Tease is Grace and Brandon's love story. One night nine years ago Grace decided to have a little fun which included alcohol and sex with a guy who gave her a false name and an illegible phone number when we left the next morning. All these years later she finally finds him because he is doing a charity event only a few hours away from where she and their daughter live. Her intent is to confront him, but instead she finds a man who is remorseful about having missed so much of his daughter's life and not being there for Grace when she needed him the most. What neither of them expect is the instant attraction that they both still have for each other. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
