About this eBook

Theo Prescott is better off alone. A successful divorce attorney, he knows that relationships don’t last, true love isn’t real, and fairy tales are the stuff of fantasy. Deep down, he knows if he let himself fall for someone, he’d only end up causing pain. And he refuses to do that to anyone—including and especially his best friend, Lauren. Even if she’s gorgeous, ambitious, and smart. Warm and funny. Talented and quite possibly perfect for him.

Lauren MacKinnon has been pining after Theo for the better part of a decade. He’s sexy, intelligent, thoughtful and makes her laugh harder than anyone else. He’s her best friend, but if he knew how she felt about him, he’d run for the hills. She’s well aware of how he feels about love and relationships. And as much as her unrequited feelings hurt, she’s not willing to risk their friendship for an impossibility.

Lauren knows it’s time to move on, so when her friends suggest Theo set her up on a blind date, she agrees. But when Theo realizes that he can’t handle watching Lauren with another man, sparks just might fly.

It can be hard to overcome our fears where love is concerned. Ms. Wyatt's friends-to-lovers book explores this topic. A note to readers regarding relationship counceling: seeking help doesn't mean you're weak, on the contrary! Being self aware enough to understand you need help and seeking it are two very big and brave steps in the right direction. The two main characters really seem to love one another and seek guidance from trusted friends and relatives, which can be helpful. They also learn to finnaly talk things out, which makes their relationship stronger. With today's faster pace and high-tech world, heart-felt face-to-face communication is necessary more than ever! I appreciate this reminder. **This has been voluntary feedback of a reviewer copy of this title.

I suppose that when they say that love is blind. That is the true jinx of it and nothing else, but the truth......so says the enlightened one. The priests will not mention that when officiating a wedding ceremony. Either be it on a straight or on a gay couple but love will be blind, hypothetically speaking. In today's world stupid can also mean clever. Because the stupid one's are the one's getting more love. By the way someone like me would probably never get to read this intresting book. But maybe I'd never will in my lifetime since stupid love on earth happened. Who knows, because maybe the one who comes dashing around in the shinning armour might save the day.

I loved this friends to lovers romance. Theo and Lauren both had feelings for each other but were scared to act on it because they didn’t want to ruin their friendship. When their mutual friend has the idea of them trying to find the other a partner, this pushes them to start to explore how they really feel about each other. Their chemistry between them was so good. Loved them as a couple. This was a well written story that has wonderful characters that will pull you in and keep you interested from page one. Loved it. Can’t wait to read what is coming up next.
