Welcomed as the first book about American submarines in World War II to be written by a man who actually fought them, this compelling personal account of the war beneath the sea firmly established Edward L. Edward L. Beach, Captain, USN (Ret.), is the best-selling author of Run Silent, Run Deep and a dozen other books about the Navy. His book Around the World Submerged describes his record-breaking 1960 circumnavigation of the globe in the USS Triton.
