This review is for Stefanie London's "Best Man Next Door". This was a bite-size second chance story that I really enjoyed. While it was a quick read, I feel like we still got a good full story. Sage's work was really interesting and my heart really felt for her as she rehashed the past and the bullying she endured as she came back to her home town. Jamie was such a genuinely nice character you get pulled into the story right away. Sage and Jamie have a past and I love how they work through it.

"Say You'll Stay": I enjoyed the likeable characters and the friendly, emotional tone in this heartwarming story. "This Time for Keeps": I enjoyed Michaela's ambition, her lack of sentimentality, and the practical approach she takes to winning Khalil's heart. "Best Man Next Door": I really felt for Sage and her fear of being vulnerable. I loved how Jamie grew more self-accepting during the story and helped Sage do the same. My thanks to author Stefanie London for the ARC I received.

I love a second-chance romance, but this is also a second-chance with life and dreams and Stefanie London brought us a sweet, charming, sexy, and fun story filled with everything you could want in a big story packed into a quick read. Sage and Jamie are great characters with so much going on, but the chemistry between them just sizzles on the page instantly drawing you in. Sage’s family and Jamie’s business partner make you want to be a part of this town.
