They lost everything they had, including the Radio Lounge. #4 Raye’s childhood was full of fun and games with her family. She grew up in a rented four-room bungalow with a refrigerator and a telephone, both of which were rare for the time. The telephone had a party line, which meant that there were three or four people in the neighborhood who had the same phone number.
