Something about the way this book is written made it very difficult for me to follow. It required either re-reading sentences or just skipping paragraphs, which did not make me feel like I missed anything important. I begrudgingly read to the end with futile hope that it would redeem itself. It did not. The plot is tired, overused, and predictable. If you're considering this book mainly due to its marketing on TikTok (which is why I bought both books), I strongly suggest you find something else to read and not waste your time. There are better stories out there.
