Lucy Vandermark was invited to a surprise birthday party for Queen Jessica on Prillon Prime. She is an unmated Earth girl, simply a guest of the queen! Ambassador Lord Niklas Lorvar, and his second, Captain Sambor Treval, are invited as well. Lucy’s purpose for her time here is to enjoy a one-night stand fling with no strings attached. She finds two very attractive Prillon warriors, Nik and Sam, and makes them understand (yeah, right) that she wants only to have fun and then she will be going home. But Nik and Sam don’t see it that way because, even without the testing center for the Interstellar Brides Program, they have a true mating along with that fun fling. They convinced her to put the Prillon mating collar on and all would be revealed. She would know exactly how they felt about her. And she will know her guys will never let her leave them. As with all of this author’s books, the story line was amazing, the dialog hilarious, and the characters so well described that the reader feels like they are old friends. I melted when they told her to not cover her freckles with makeup, because they see HER and she is beautiful. These stories are so good and I am grateful for having this author who writes such entertaining stories for us over and over. Grab your copy and enjoy this slightly different “bride” story. When he carries her off the floor to check if she is okay, Sambor follows, and Lucy propositions both of them, and they accept. “I am here to enjoy myself. To have some fun. Are you two together? You know, like a warrior and his second?” Lucy lets them know in no uncertain terms she only wants a fling, and while these two Prillon men hadn’t been looking, they are willing—but will they be content with a one-night stand and able to walk away? “You want to use us for your pleasure and walk away? All three were just going to have a good time, no-strings-attached, hot and heavy sex, and then go back to their everyday lives. But that is not going to happen. After one night, both Niklas and Sambor agree she is theirs, forever, their mate. And Niklas has his collars bright to make it complete. What happens with the collars makes the experience so much more intense. The chemistry between Lucy, Nik, and Sam sizzles off the pages—and together, they find what they didn’t even know they needed. “It’s real. It’s us. Feel it. Know us.” When a special and security IC meeting with Dr. Hellion, Ander, along with Niklas and Sambor, and two rogue guests will go wrong, and before Nilas and Sambor can transport, the ship is attacked—and they are presumed dead. What will Lucy do now that she has loved and lost her mates? The story had me on the edge of my seat and in tears; as the story unfolds, the despair, depression, and feeling of loss were intense. It has mystery, suspense, passion, secrets, and angst. Not everything is as it seems, and things don’t always work out as planned. Lucy can return to Earth, and she doesn’t want to; what she wants, she fears she has lost. Will love be so powerful that it will win in the end? If two Prillon mates have anything to do with it, it will.

Surprise Mates By Grace Goodwin I love this whole series each book gets better. Suprise Mates had all the same awesome elements you can expect with this series super hot warriors who will treat their mate with loving care totally possessive with the need to make there women happy. This book had all the feels for me great story plot sexy love scenes and the journey was great to read all 3 of the main characters belong together. Grace Goodwin continues to evolve this series and reel you into this amazing world.
