About this ebook

A serial killer stalks the streets of Atlanta. Dubbed the Weekend Killer, the murderer takes his victims on Friday and sends a souvenir to the Atlanta Major Crimes Division of the Atlanta Police Department by Saturday morning. Next, a body part arrives on Sunday followed by a typewritten note Monday morning describing where the body may be found. The pattern is clearly intended to provoke the police—down to the untraceable fingerprints the killer doesn’t bother to wipe and right up to the moment when Mia’s new stepsister Mindy is the next victim.

Mia thinks she knows things that the police don’t.

Should she stay out of it and let the police do their job? Should she trust her instincts and go on alone? The clock is ticking down and only one thing is for sure:  Unless someone does something before Monday morning, Mindy will be dead.

Not my favourite. There were parts that didn't add to the story...the dog being sick and dying....Jack's catering business. It didn't feel as if either belonged. The way the chief beat up a suspect with no real evidence didn't jive with his position which was more about control and doing what's right despite the fact it was his daughter. Mia'' s so called gift was wishy washy, and as the main character, I found her more annoying and somewhat inept. What idiot knocks on the front door of a potential killer? What was her plan if she "felt " he WAS the killer. Was that a smart move? I love the author, but this was a book I could have closed without finishing.

It was a good book, only now I can't stand the Mia because of her treatment of her dog. I know this is fiction, i know ,I know, but someone could have taken the poor thing to the vet. Done.

I enjoyed this book. The main character is strong and persistent. This attribute saved a life.
