While I haven’t read all the books in this series, the ones I have read have been golden. I have thoroughly enjoyed every trip I’ve taken to Happily, Inc. and fervently hope Ms. Mallery never runs out of residents to feature. The main characters in this installment were highly likable, thoughtful, and admirable people I’d like to know and spend more time with. The writing was wittily amusing, smooth, expertly paced, and flowed through my gray matter like a ribbon of film through a movie projector while eliciting sighs, smirks, and contented smiles throughout a highly satisfying perusal.

Sometimes what you didn't know you were even looking for is right next door. Since the first story in Happily Inc. I've wondered more about Wynn and her background, so I was so excited to see the Happily This Christmas gave us her story. Happy with her life, her son and her friends, Wynn finds friendship and some sparks with next door neighbor Garrick. Spending more time together to prepare for Garrick's married and pregnant adult daughter coming to live with him, a fast friendship develops and they realize that spending more time together is good for both of them. Friends and family gatherings for the holidays lead to a great holiday novel about redemption, friendship, support and love. The best part of a Mallery story is that you always feel like you are part of the story, part of the town and coming back to Happily Inc. was a fine time indeed.

This was such a good read and really it delivered everything you could want in a holiday themed book. Wynn and Garrick's tale is about mistakes, regrets, forgiveness and familial and romantic love. There was lot of genuineness and a high level of relatability about this book. I thought that this made it very easy to connect with and sympathize with the characters. Very enjoyable. I am choosing to post a candid review.
