I was familiar with the movie, but I didn't know much. This book is
heartbreakingly honest. I would never have dreamed that this woman had
taken pills/drank as an escape, but she was very truthful. I am very sorry
for the loss of her son, but I feel there was a reason. For her to go on
and reach the world through him. She is totally correct in saying that if
only ONE person had said something, her son would be alive. Lesson learned
and has been passed on to my kids.

I haven't read a whole book from beginning to end in a long time. I'm so glad I came across this book I love his family's courage to share there story of the overwhelming grief that happened to them . Thank you and stay strong, God never promised No Storms in life but He did promise that He would be with us through the storm.

There are no words to describe the pain and torment that Susan and her family must have went through during the process of having her only child STOLEN from her and maliciously murdered by a group of uncaring, self centered thugs who's own parents are at fault just as much as their children for what happened to Nick. The way our children are raised is a reflection of our own upbringing and they should be held just as accountable for what happened to Nick. The movie does no justice for what happened!!
