This is book three in The Justice Agency series, It is a stand alone book, however they are all amazing. They do go in order and you will miss some of the history of some of the characters if you jump in the middle but nothing that is necessary to understand what is going on in this novel. I love the suspense, romance, heartache, dialogue, and so much more that are always present in one of Sleeman's books. The Justice Agency series all revolve around an amazing family, the Justice family. This book focuses on Cole Justice. He has had a lot to deal with in his past and must come to grips with his past if he is to have a chance at happiness. When Cole must protect Alyssa and her kids will his past help him to succeed or be his undoing? Alyssa Wells is a determined mother of a set of twins. When she is in the wrong place at the wrong time will she loose her family? Alyssa must learn to trust a man she just met and uncover a past that may or may not end as she hopes.
