Susanne Weber, 1977 in Oldenburg geboren, studierte in Berlin Germanistik und Romanistik. Sie arbeitete einige Jahre als Lektorin in Kinderbuchverlagen, bevor sie begann, erfolgreich Kinderbücher zu schreiben. Sie lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Söhnen in Berlin.
