I wanted to love this book. I made it to all the way to chapter 36 before I opted to not go any further. Lexie is very judgemental and hypocritical. She is a frustrating character. She brings drama. She plays head games, there's too much immaturity that it was infuriating. The sexual tension was fabulous but then it was let down by not going anywhere. Soany other characters and their drama happening that I didn't care much for. I can't believe Lexi knowingly goes over to Logans house when she knows Morgan and Cade wouldn't like it. Logan flirts with her & she laughs it off. Cade is at least protective of her and knows what guys best to avoid. S n e doesn't acknowledge how Cade is feeling and she has no respect

Love/Hate two strong emotions... by and1515 This was quite an outstanding love/hate story between two characters who have a laundry list of problems and a boo-koo number of flaws that make them interesting while being supportive by a number of remarkable side kicks. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I am so glad I read Heartless by Suzana Thompson. I was hooked at the first page. It's book one in the Forbidden series. Stepbrother romance is one of my favorite genres so I was excited to read Lexi and Cade's story. This story had so many twists and turns that you won't stop until the last page. Cannot wait for book two!
