After a chance meeting in a dark garden rakish Wentworth can’t get Iris out of his head to where he doesn’t want another woman. They don’t spend a lot of time together at the house party before he has to convince her his intentions are honorable if still somewhat scandalous. I would have liked more about them getting to know each other better before they jumped into a relationship in this short steamy romance.

"I'm here because I can't stop thinking about you." Short, no angst, steamy-sweet Christmas story that's perfect for a winter's evening. It was fun watching the rakish Lord Wentworth cluelessly fall in love with sweet Iris. Third in the series it has tons of spoilers for the first two books but can easily be read as a standalone. Can't wait until next Christmas to see who Violet has been writing letters to. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

After rescuing Iris from ruin, the Earl of Wentworth is tormented by thoughts of her. Eager to uncover more about her, he schemes an invitation to the Christmas house party she’s attending. I loved the characters and the light, fun tone of this book. The chemistry between Iris and Harry is adorable. He’s normally confident, but he’s lost in her. Despite her inexperience, she has no trouble keeping up with him. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

USA Today bestselling author Suzanna Medeiros was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her love of reading led her to pursue a degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto. After working at a number of interesting places, including a federal inquiry, a youth probation office, and the Office of the Fire Marshal of Ontario, she decided to pursue her first love—writing.

Suzanna is married to her own hero and survived raising twins. When she isn't writing, she loves reading and playing video games.
