I grew up looking up to more trees than people; my childhood was embossed with the green cover of nature. Now at a later stage when there's a canopy of memories hanging loosely from the branches of my tree of life, I see myself enveloped in emotions. This collection of poems strives to give words to all those memories that were etched at the back of my mind in green ink all those years ago.

Renu Sinha spent her childhood in Chaibasa, Jharkhand. She used to accompany her father, a forest officer, on his tours to different forest areas which sprouted into her love for nature. This passion for nature is reflected in her poetry. She is a voracious reader and has an emotional and sentimental take on life which establishes the groundwork for her poetry collection.
