Die Narada Bhakti Sutras sind 84 Aphorismen (kurze Lehrsätze) über die Liebe zu Gott (Bhakti), die Narada, einem Weisen aus der hinduistischen Mythologie, zugeschrieben werden und als Klassiker der Bhakti-Literatur gelten. Swami Vivekananda schrieb eine freie Übersetzung dieser Sutras und hielt einen Vortrag darüber vor einer kleinen Gruppe seiner Schüler auf den "Tausend Inseln" im St. Lawrence Strom im Staat New York. Sein Schüler Edward Sturdy übersetzte die Sutren ebenfalls mit seiner Hilfe und schrieb einen Kommentar dazu, der eindeutig Vivekanandas Handschrift trägt. Die Narada Bhakti Sutras beschreiben den immer noch aktuellen Weg der Gottesliebe, den es in allen Religionen gibt.
