The book Tinku's summer is a story about Tinku and her Maasi going to a remote place named Palashdanga and how there summer went. The book is nice and sweetly narrated children's book about the changes in urban as rural civilization and how different people are. There are lots of quirk and wits story and each one makes you laugh or enjoy life. Loved the way it ended as well. But somewhere down the line I expected more from the book. Overall a decent read.

'Tinku's Summer Adventure' is a sweet story surrounding our protagonist ten-year-old Tinku along with her Moni Mashi and Nutu Pishi. Due to some reasons, Tinku's parents had to fly off to England. Finding herself in a village called Palashdanga she spends her time with Moni Mashi and Nutu Pishi. The trio explores, create little moments and much more. It's a short and sweet, adventurous book, which many of us may relish in reading. It reminds ones of their school times vacations — the joys, family time and capers we were bound within. I definitely recommend this book to little readers if you wish to company Tinku in her adventures.
