About this eBook

Fans of Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series will be drawn to Wendy Higgins's sexy, thrilling Sweet Evil series.

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences? This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.

Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

Ok so I pre-ordered Sweet Evil then had to make myself wait to read it. I was so nervous… And now, I’m having a hard time reviewing it, all for good reasons. YA-Angel books hold a top spot on my reading list, but lately I have felt a lack of understanding or taking the right approach with the concept. Oh, and then there is the whole issue of the lack of originality. Well, Wendy Higgins is officially crazy good, amazing, spectacular and will be very close to the top of favorite book this year. Sweet Evil has so much going for it drama, romance, angels, demons, action, friendship, morals, and oh yea Lust, Oh Kaidan…dear sweet, hot, British, Kaidan. I didn’t stand a chance. What did I love most about this Angel book…well…the lack thereof. Strange I know, but Sweet Evil revolved more around the demon aspect and it was a very different. Higgins took an approach to even the demon aspect with such originality I was pleasantly surprised to say the least! Higgins writing is to die for, built the characters to the point where I could close my eyes and *GASP* see Kaidan myself. EEK! Beyond that she built the world with her words and I love to get that lost in a book. Oh yea, and Wendy, (SLIGHT spoiler) you broke my heart with that ending and it was masterfully done. Hope HarperTeen doesn’t give book two a release date too far into 2013 cause I really am an impatient person!

The best angel, demon, nephilim book i've ever read. The characters are all very interesting. The main character is also very unique and not as annoying as girl main characters usually are. And of course last but not least kaiden rowe.... i freakking love him, and i know you will too. (The best and sexiest male characther i've ever read.)

Teen love story with all the emotion found in true teenagers. This storyline kept moving and kept me intrigued. Good job to the author... can't wait to read the next book in this series.
