Malia's character waffled between great and really annoying at times. She wanted to seem really worldly and experienced with her thoughts, but her actions and spoken words were way more naive and clueless. Adam was written really well. I did enjoy all of his actions and he seemed like he was really trying. Maybe I needed to research the author more, but it seemed like some characters we were supposed to know who they were and what they do? They were introduced and thrown away so fast that it was a little confusing to follow. And I didn't understand the epilogue at all. Overall, an okay read! I'd probably give it 3.5 stars.

Sybil proved she's still one of my favorite writers for a reason! Maila is a strong young woman that finally overcomes her grief and let's herself have love. Adam is a force of all kinds of male dominance that doesn't let her get in her own way. Old friends appear from her previous books that I truly love. Can't wait for Victor's story!

I stumbled on this author by chance, and boy, am I glad I did. she had me hooked from the beginning. I read Seal first, and then when it abruptly ended, I had to see what happened, and I purchased this book. Sybil Bartel has easily become a favorite author of mine. There is tons of action, sexual tention between the two main characters, suspense, twist, and turns (this is the kind of books I enjoy reading). This book kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. Great book, and I would definitely recommend this book to other readers.
