This book is not as Sleeping Giants. The writing style worked great for a first book, but wears off fast, particularly during action scenes. The ending was also disappointing.

Great series so far! I love the style of writing, gives the book a lot of pace yet never lets down on how descriptive it is. Fantastic read!

Sylvain Neuvel has a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Chicago. He is an amateur robotics enthusiast and life-long fan of all things science fiction. Sleeping Giants is the first in the Themis Files series, followed by Waking Gods and Only Human.
