This is the 2nd book in this duology, and this is Tess and Hunter story. This is a well written story which has family, friendships, enemies / lovers, engaging and realistic characters, security, and love, which leads to an entertaining small town sports romance. A fast enemies to lovers romance the pulls you in fast. The family ranch is everything to Hunter, he works hard in college to make sure when it is his time to take over, he is ready. Tess's life was rough from the start. Being born to addicts, they focused more on themselves than raising her. Now that she has graduated, she is ready to leave only to find out they have taken all the money she had. Desperate Tess gets a job on the ranch
