Jonel B. (Pure Jonel)
This was definitely a quick, steamy read with a kick. I enjoyed the premise behind the story. It would have been even better had it been fleshed out more fully. I felt as if I were getting glimpses into what was going on, yet didn’t quite have the whole picture. Austin is a very descriptive writer who allowed me complete insight into what was going on throughout the novel. I found that at times the writing was a little repetitive. The author used very similar turns of phrase to say many things, sometimes within the same page. As a whole, this was a good short story with the potential to make a great novel. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

It was pretty good, but you should get someone to read it over a few times just to get the grammar right. There weren't that many grammar errors, but it would be great if the few that were there would disappear. The romance was good, and the passion was accurate, but he didn't seem to have that many feelings, due to you not elaborating enough. Some things weren't really that logical and you could've explained those things so we wouldn't really question everything so much. The sexual intercourse was very inaccurate, though I guess you could say it's because he was a vampire and "they had a special connection". Overall it was a good story, but I wouldn't say it was on my top 1000 list of good books.

James is a vampire hunter avenging his brother death by their kind. He meets Thomas, a cowboy vampire, in his home. He got past James security systems. He wants James help in killing a fellow vampire. The incentive to James.....this is the one that killed his brother. This is fast moving, sexy and hot. I wish it would've been a bit longer and went into the relationship between James and Thomas more.
