When Winnie has to leave the city to spend a summer taking care of her Aunt's house and dogs, she is not happy about it. The plus side is the sexy veterinarian named Chase. Winnie and Chase have an attraction to each other but Chase is looking for something series and he isn't sure if Winnie is here to stay or if she will leave when Summer is over. Cute story ( even though Winnie was a bit aggravating at times) but I did enjoy the story. Romantic, funny and some steamy (low burn) scenes .

I really liked this rom-com story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with plenty of laughs and feels. The characters were interesting and likable. Winnie is a spoiled brat that lives her life aimlessly. After her parents cut her off, she is sent to her Aunt's to pet-sit her three dogs for the summer. When she takes the dogs to the vet as one of them has an acupuncture appointment she meets Chase, the local veterinarian. Chase catches Winnie when she faints at the acupuncture appointment. Chase decides to date her. Chase and Winnie get a great happy ever after. I recommend reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a light enjoyable read. It had me laughing from start to finish. I loved the mischievous animals. Their antics were one source of my many laughs. Not gonna lie some of the characters are crazy and they had to the humor. I had to warm up to Winnie a bit. Winnie is in town because her latest stunt has her in hot water. Though this punishment may be a blessing in disguise especially when she gets a peek at the town's veterinarian. I loved Chase. I mean you can't go wrong with a guy who loves animals. Chase is also good for Winnie. To me he grounds her and makes her take time to take a breath. Both Chase and Winnie are going to truly understand things happen for a reason. There is one part of this book with Chase in the hospital and what comes after that had me bursting up laughing. It's also Awkward with a capital A. This is a perfect read to forget the world and problems for a bit. The characters pull you into their story and drama.
