Quirky little salon in Marietta, Montana houses one of the most prize possessions that Betty's son could ever find Funny thing is when Ty came to town had no idea he was even looking for a treasure at all. My favorite fictional town is back this time author Jane Porter brings is a bit of a mystery mixed in with a wonderful romance. It is no secret if you read my reviews you know I love this fun town in Montana and this book did not disappoint me at all. It did answer some questions I had about one of my favorite characters in Marietta, Betty Justice. But this story is more about her son Tyler and Amanda or Mandy the lovely Salon owner. Funny thing is folks can understand when an older person and a younger person are friends. Someone always has to be "wanting something from the situation" right? Well, right but not right.... maybe. This book is well written and easy to read. It had me back in my adopted hometown as soon as I started reading and and there were so many fun things in this book that had me finding myself wanting to do in my own home... like add a splash of pink. (Read an see why.) Come for a visit and see if you can spot the blue door.

I loved this book. “Take A Chance On Me” is book three in Jane Porter's Love On Chance Avenue series. It was a sweet story about family, love and friendship. It takes place in the small town of Marietta, Montana. You get the dynamics of small town living, neighbor helping neighbor, friends becoming closer than family and obviously your town gossips. The love and concern that Tyler showed for his grandmother Bette was heart warming. The special friendship that Bette and Amanda had formed was very special. I would have to say Bette was quit the character. She knew that Tyler and Amanda were perfect for each other and she was determined to get them together, no matter what the cost. My favorite characters and the one I could relate to most was the two Wright sisters, Amanda and Charity. I enjoyed “Take A Chance On Me” so much I need to go back and read the stories I missed. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Tule Publishing through NetGalley, Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Worried about his grandma, Bette, Ty uses a little bit of subterfuge when fishing for information. Mandy has nothing to hide, and she calls him on his tactics--they both want what's best for Bette. The more time they spend together, it's harder to fight the attraction. But, Ty lives in Texas, and Mandy has no intention of leaving town. But things change--Ty might move to town. First, Ty must learn to trust and Mandy has to learn it's okay to take help--it's not a handout. If these two can find a way to each other's hearts, they'll make the perfect couple! Wonderful romance! I highly recommend.
