Earl of Infamy

Having had very few choices in her life, Avery refuses to be pushed around any further after the death of her dreadful father. I found myself identifying with Avery in many ways, as every woman should have a choice over her future. The Earl of Ivinhart, nicknamed Infamy by his friends, has been tasked with taking Avery away from the city to a safe place, given that the men who murdered her father still have their eye on her. Noah has had few problems dealing with women in the past, but Avery turns his life upside down and makes him question everything he knows. Opposites attract in this romance, but the more Avery comes to know Noah, the more willing she is to consider the options set before her. Although part of a series and characters from previous stories appear in this one too, the novel is a standalone and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

He was a known rake, with the nickname Earl of Infamy. She was innocent and the daughter of a baron. The deal was made and he agreed to marry her before they even met. Yes, indeed! A charming, emotional story evolves as these two come together. Both wounded from the past and cynical about the future. But a strong attraction begins to spring forth and they might have a chance. If only.... I loved these characters and seeing the story unfold as I have this entire series! Every book has truly been wonderful and what a cast of characters!

I loved reading about Avery and Noah’s romantic bubble of time together. The story strictly centered on them and basically them alone. The story is warm, witty, sensual and sexy. What I most admired about Avery and Noah was their ability to confide their deepest pain and fear to each other. The comfort they gave each other was realistic and beautiful. A must read. I highly recommend it. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
