I'm not much for vampire novels b/c of the soulless nature of the species, but I loved the compassion both exhibited in this novel. I also enjoyed the explanation for a triad of lovers. Outside of that, it's a pretty stereotypical romance. A bit of fluff for an hour or two of distraction. The writing is excellent, chooses the correct homophone, has great sentence variety, and must be British in training from the use of weaved, not woven, and whilst, not while. It's a fun easy read and definitely worth experiencing.
