Scott Ciencin was a New York Timesยญโbestselling author of adult and childrenโs fiction. His body of work includes more than sixty novels, numerous short stories, and comic books. He is best known for his Dungeons & Dragons novels, including The Avatar Series, and books set in theย world of Dinotopia. In addition to writing fiction, he also wrote screenplays and consulted on video games such as the Silent Hill horror franchise. Ciencin passed away in 2014.
