Penthouse Prince: A New York City Romance

Penthouse Prince is book two in the New York City Romance Series and it’s a completely revisited with new content version of Penthouse Player and this is Reina St James and Tristan James Xavier Bettencourt IV story. It’s a story that drew me in and captivated me from the first couple of pages to the last line, it was read in one sitting so my advice is make sure you have time to finish what you start because I was up half the night wanting and needing to know how this couple’s journey ended. Reina is about to start her dream job, she is determined to leave her mark on Wall Street but she is going to have some fun before she knuckles down to some hard work and a mysterious man who turns heads, who looks as good in jeans as he does in tailored suits has caught her attention. Imagine the shock when she recognises the crest above the bed as the family crest of her new boss and that means she makes a very quick exit leaving Tristan wondering what he did wrong. Tristan never normally takes much notice of the new employees but as soon as he walks in the room he is drawn to a stunning woman, imagine his surprise to see Reina in the room. What follows is two people trying to fight the attraction and the chemistry that is sizzling between them. Reina should be off limits but we can’t always control what our heart wants. This couple both have a lot a baggage as well as secrets so what will happen when secrets are revealed will it break or make them. This book ticked all my boxes, I swooned, I sighed, I smiled and I held my breath as I joined Tristan and Reina on their journey. I highly recommend this gem to all romance lovers, it has wonderful characters you can’t help loving as well as a captivating story.

There is nothing I love more than a good forbidden, office romance and this book does not disappoint! The story is beautifully written with a well flushed out plot. The characters are engaging and let me tell you that it was steamy! Penthouse Prince is full of secrets, romance, and the right amount of angst that make this a very enjoyable read. Tristan and Reina meet at a fundraising event where only first names are exchanged. The sparks are flying and the attraction is undeniable, yet Reina puts on the brakes before things go too far. So imagine Tristan’s astonishment when he walks into his office and meets the new girl, Reina. For so many reasons, romantic entanglements between them should be avoided, but with an attraction so strong - both physically and emotionally - the two find it near impossible to ignore each other. Tristan and Reina are both characters that you cannot help but love. They have many strengths, but also have flaws and make mistakes which makes several aspects of this story very interesting. It is also why I wanted to talk some sense into them a few times! Their chemistry is off the charts and often times I feared my kindle would spontaneously combust. Yet, their relationship isn’t only on a physical level and as it evolves into something deeper, the web of secrets become more complex and they both risk losing it all. Penthouse Prince is a complete standalone billionaire romance in this author’s New York City Romance series. Previously published as Penthouse Player, this book has been completely revised. If you are looking for an office romance that has the perfect combination of romance and drama, then I definitely recommend this book!

From the first chapter I was drawn in to the story that Ms.Leigh wove. About to start her new job, Reina is intrigued by the mysterious distinguished man who looks just as hot in jeans as in a tux. She may only be 23 but she is focused on making her mark on Wall Street so a one night stand is just what she needs before her new job starts. Imagine the shock when she realized that the man is her new boss. The last thing Tristan can afford is a scandal, he is the heir to a financial empire and the one woman he knows he should avoid is the one woman who drives him crazy, his new employee Reina. The chemistry between them is passionate, intense and way too much to ignore. All it takes is one night to change the course of their lives. They could not come from more different backgrounds and yet they have a great deal in common. They both carry a lot of baggage from the past and secrets. What happens when secrets and lies are revealed, will it destroy them?
