About this ebook

~A breathtaking launch of this adventure fantasy series~

Ciardis Weathervane, a girl with no future, and Sebastian Algardis, the one who will change it all, have found a challenge in this phenomenally unique and captivating tale.

They were never meant to break the chains binding his powers, but when they upended the imperial courts they found their powers were greater than any foretold.

Together they'll shatter that empire. And perhaps help it rise again.

"One world you don't want to miss out on!"

- City Of Books ★★★★★

Ciardis Weathervane is facing a war on two fronts. One with the dragons. One with the deities.

She is ready to face the god that they’ve known was coming for months, but the people that she thought would coalesce around her are faltering under the pressure, the lies, and the deceit.

She knows that the very foundation between ruler, nobility, and commoner had fractured down to its core. Now the capital city and its people need to be reforged, bound in fire before they’re consumed by brimstone.

But the citizens of the empire need more than a speech to believe in the rulers that betrayed them just days before. With their empire on the line, Sebastian lays out his first ruling edict which may be more than even he bargained for.

As Sandrin comes together once more before the final struggle, the daemoni prince is struck down and the princess heir-in-waiting has doubts as to whether they can forge a more perfect union without the one that completes their souls.

With Thanar trapped in purgatory while they fight to resurrect the city that gave them life—Ciardis and Sebastian are in a battle to the death against a god bent on living forever.

Listen, I LOVE the characters in this series. Love the story line. Love the weird love triangle. I gobbled up the first 4 or 5 books, but the longer the series goes on, the more it feels like the author is just prolonging every second with wordiness. Like, this entire book takes place in a few hours, with a paragraph for each painstaking moment. It's gotten to the point that you can read just the last two chapters & know what is happening. Terah, I believe your vision is amazing, but PLEASE, speed it up!

Another amazing instalment to this series! I received an ARC copy for an honest review and am here to say that this book kept me on the edge of my seat!! You will be sent on an emotional rollercoaster and not knowing who to trust. As we watch the fate of Ciardis, Sebastian, and Thanar continue to play out you will experience every possible emotion. And in her typical style Terah once again leaves us with a cliff hanger. I await the next book eagerly!

Almost gave it 2 star only, for the neverending roundabout story and ramblings of the main character (Ciadris)... But the ending was unexpected...
