It's taken me a while to figure out what I want to say about this book, but in sum: The Girls I've Been is the kind of book that makes me want to print every word into my bones. It stays with you long after you've read it and if you love exploring trauma and psychology, this is the book that'll bury itself into your heart forever

Very unique! I liked how it switched between stories and experiences of each girl to how she became Nora!

Born in a mountain cabin to a punk-rocker mother, Tess Sharpe grew up in rural California. She lives deep in the backwoods with a pack of dogs and a growing colony of formerly feral cats.
