Tessa Bailey is honestly the best. She always writes about realistic characters that you instantly connect with. I loved this book from the beginning, Taylor is a second grade teacher who is in Cape Cod for a week with her brother, but things don't go smoothly from the beginning when she discovers a body at her rental house, enters Myles Sumner who is a bounty hunter who gets called to find the killer. Myles is broody guy who believes he is better off alone even when sparks fly between him and Taylor. Taylor wants to settle down but first she wants to stop playing it safe, when Myles insists that they can never be in a relationship she accepts that and just continues with her life which drives Myles crazy. LOL I KNOW RIGHT? These dudes always think they will be begged and nagged but my girl Taylor was like boy bye 👋 🙄 🤣
