Standalone book, the first 40% about book 1, 2 and 3. Not fair on people who've actually bothered to read those books but never mind. The rest of the book could've made up for that but it didn't. No bad guys... Well actually there is one, he enters at 99% through the book?! So it feels like I've just read a whole book for nothing. I guessed who Sophies mate was going to be, it was obvious... If her cursed mate in the next book turns out to be the little bother I'll be disappointed. The book repeats itself over and over. The girl gets kidnapped again. Looks like there's going to be a 2nd mate again. Lastly the word "chucked" gets repeated over and over. Very disappointed, I'm going to read the next book but only because I've already paid for it.

So pulled in to this book. More details of the darkness would be amazing and could've created another book in this series. I can't waste to much time, Sophi has been kidnapped. Who knew of her powers? How long have they known? So many questions.

I agree with other reviews the story just stops abruptly, which is annoying, just comes across as money grabbing or rushed. It's a catchy series and kept my intrigue throughout the very short stories but don't think they are worth £4 each.
