I give this one 4 1/2⭐️. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I will be frank and say it is mostly sex (and it is soooooo goooood), BUT it is also very much a young woman figuring out what she wants from life. I especially like all the insect references. I think her area of study really does help her understand what is going on better and accept it. I received a free copy of this book.

'Test Drive' is book one in Ines Johnson's new series "Watchers Crew" and believe me when I say to you, this book is not for the faint of heart. This is not a hearts and roses romance. It's raw and gritty, blatant, and in your face. I wish there had been a bit more character development so I could feel somewhat of a connection. I'm not sure what I expected but I don't think this was it.

Test drive is an understatement for the title of this book. When Ellie takes a fellow student to the other side of town, she stumbles on a way of life she never experienced. Hawk and his crew will educate Ellie to their ways. She will learn and grow in more ways than one with an understanding of Hawk and his crew.
