Bearing His Sins - Eve Langlais - 3 stars Loved the fast paced antics of this couple as they attempt to stop the person trying to kidnap the heroine. This has a lot of banter, exemplary secondary characters and a nice little storyline. Steam factor is high but late in the story. Bought by the Bear - Milly Taiden - 3 stars This one has a bit of a mystery, some action and lots of steam. The dialogue was a bit stilted initially but soon evened out. The Alpha and I - Kate Baxter - 3 stars I enjoyed this one with its romantic thriller feel. The heroine did make a decision that made me want to roll my eyes at one point. Overall, I liked this anthology and each of the stories within. Good for a little taste of each author’s work. An example of what's offered: Milly Taiden again offers us a great story with some humor, heat, and honesty in BOUGHT BY THE BEAR: Josie is the single parent of her eight-year-old nephew. She's great at love, however, some bad luck has made her struggle to keep them going. A friend offers her the chance to catch up for a while. She has to do something she'd never have considered if times weren't so desperate. A fake-mate. That's what Xander needed. To appease his only family, a loving but strong grandmother, he has to appear to be settling down. The phrase you can buy anything on the internet was true in this case. Only when he met Josie there was nothing fake about his feelings. This is a couple you will cheer to have their HEA. Unfortunately, not everyone wants her happiness. Someone is threatening her and she's trying to handle it herself. Will she live long enough to find the HEA? The author has given a complete read with wonderful characters, good storyline, and steamy chemistry. Enjoy all three great reads.

Bought by the Bear by Milly Taiden is an emotionally turbulent story that captures the readers’ hearts as well as their attention as Xander tries to convince Josilyn that their fake mating is not only the real thing but one that will last forever. The Alpha and I by Kate Baxter captivates readers with an intense and emotional romance that has danger nipping at its heels which keeps anticipation building from the beginning to the end. All three stories may be short but they pack one heck of a punch, as they all ensnare readers keeping them glued to the pages until they have read each and every word. The romances are fascinating with lots of sizzling chemistry that leaps from the pages and the stories are full of excitement and thrills that gives readers an exhilarating experience and I can’t wait to read the next Beast Sized Anthology which coming soon.
