Before she began writing romances, Pamela Browning worked as a newspaper reporter and columnist, and she has also worked in public relations, as well as in the admissions department of a small college. Pamela has written over 40 romances. Her books consistently win high ratings from reviewers, and she has won many national awards. Ms. Browning has been a frequent speaker at Harlequin publicity events and, at the invitation of Mondadori, Harlequin's Italian affiliate, she spoke at a luncheon at the Excelsior Hotel in Rome, Italy. "My daughter and her husband exchanged vows beside a vineyard in a golden valley, the sun sliding slowly below dark green mountain ridges, the air fresh with the fragrance of ripening grapes and rich earth. Add candlelight, roses, a Bach trio, and two people in love--how much more beautiful can life be?" she says. She has two children, a son and a daughter, and she makes her home in North Carolina.
